At ChristComic (CC), we’re not just a creative team — we’re a new generation of believers using our gifts to reimagine the Bible through powerful visual storytelling.
Born from a group of college students who met online, we united through two passions: our love for Jesus and our love for creativity. We come from different backgrounds — artists, writers, marketers, educators — but we share the same mission:
to bring Scripture to life for a new generation.
Our Story
This project began not in a studio, but across late-night chats, digital collaborations, and creative brainstorming sessions shared across states and time zones.
Our founder, Shawn dreamed of blending faith and entrepreneurship — not just building products, but telling stories that could inspire a generation.
Yuyu, our lead artist, brings anime-inspired energy to Biblical storytelling, blending traditional drawing with AI-enhanced design to create vivid, emotional artwork.
Travis, our visual designer, helped craft and shape the panel layouts, manga-style pages, and cover artwork to create a modern and immersive reading experience.
Liz, our support and community coordinator, brings her experience as a former Christian educator and English teacher to help us connect deeply with our audience.
Pastor Rance Settler, our content advisor, has over 18 years of ministry experience. He has overseen and approved the theological integrity of our stories and artwork, ensuring that our project remains rooted in truth while speaking with emotional depth and intellectual care.
Together, we are creating a new way to experience Scripture — visual, emotional, and unforgettable.
Why Comic Books?
We chose comic books because they speak a universal language — visual storytelling. In a world full of distractions, we believe in using powerful illustrations and accessible formats to keep the Gospel front and center.
